Scouts Active Support Units, often called SASUs or ASU’s allow like-minded Adults to form units to provide specific acitvies or skillsets to local Scouting.

Paddles Blazing ASU
A District Scout Active Support Unit providing opportunities for Canoeing and other water Activities.
A very active water activities team, for canoeing, dragon boating, rafting and narrow boating! Sailing and windsurfing is also available within the County.

The Warrington East District Shooting and Archery Support Team.
A Multi disciplined team providing Target activites at 4 locations across the district:
- Birchwood – Recurve Archery
- Glazebury – Airgun Shooting
- Grappenhall – Recurve Archery
- Thellwall – Airgun Shooting
