The District Structure.
We are a registered charity and are run entirely by volunteers. At the head of our District is our District Commissioner, supported by Deputy and Assistant District Commissioners. We also have a Distict Executive Committee (Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and other members) see the full team here.
We are currently seeking experienced scouters to take on the roles of Deputy District Commissioner (Perception) and Deputy District Commissioner (Programme) as well as a District Youth Commissioner and an Assistant District Commissioner for Cubs.

Groups In Warrington East
Groups are located in:-Culcheth (Jackson Ave), Culcheth (Methodist Church), Oughtrington, Thelwall, Croft, Gorse Covert, Locking Stumps/Birchwood, St Elphin’s, Pepper Street Lymm, Eagle Brow Lymm, Glazebury, Hollins Green, Grappenhall, Padgate and Woolston.
All of our Groups host Beavers, Cubst and Scouts, but, for the moment, only two (Gorse Covert and Birchwood) host Squirrels. There are also four Explorer Units in the District, hosted at Birchwood, Woolston, Grappenhall and Oughtrington.
We are always looking for supporters and volunteers to Grow Scouting in Warrington, we offer flexible volunteering and support with training where necessary as well as the opportunity to volunteer alongside other experienced leaders who will help you adapt to and enjoy you chosen role.
